Clothe Yourself With Love

Good morning!

When you get up in the morning, isn’t it fun to pick out what clothes you’re going to wear that day? Maybe jeans… a t-shirt with a cool picture on the front… a comfortable sweatshirt… a baseball cap… perfect!

Now stop, take a look in the mirror. How do you look? Not bad. But wait! There’s something missing… what is it? Oh yes! Just one more little—but very important—thing. The Bible says, “And above all things, put on love” (Colossians 3:14).

What is one way of showing our love to others?—You got it! A great big, cheerful smile. Put that right on your face, and let everyone see God’s love in all you do.

Now you’re all dressed and ready for the day. Have fun!

Merry Christmas from Cherub!
cmas_banner

It all happened more than 2,000 years ago—in a tiny manger in a tiny stable in the tiny country called Israel. Shepherds fell to their knees as choruses of angels swirled through the sky, singing and proclaiming: “For unto you is born a savior which is Christ the Lord!” (Luke 2:10)

Do you know why Jesus was born, on that first Christmas day so long ago?

He came to Earth because of you—yes, you! He loves you so much, and wants you to know Him, and to love Him, and to be near Him always. And that’s what Christmas is really all about.

Happy Birthday, dear Jesus!

Hi! I bet you’ve started to notice holiday decorations go up at school, in shops, and around town. Do you know what holiday is being celebrated this month?—Christmas!

It’s Jesus’ birthday! Happy birthday, dear Jesus!

It was a special day for us when Jesus was born. He is the Son of God, but He came to Earth because He loved us. The Bible says, “For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Thank You, Jesus, for coming to Earth for us!

In Everything Give Thanks
CherubWingsLogoTrans

Hi, how’s the view outside your window today?—Warm and sunny, or cloudy and rainy? Is your mom making your favorite breakfast… or is it something you don’t really like? Do you have an exciting adventure planned for today… or a lot of studying?

No matter what your day is looking like, here’s a neat Bible promise to remember: “In everything give thanks.” (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

That means: “Thank You Jesus for the GOOD things that are happening today—the GREAT things—the EXCITING things that I’m looking forward to!”

AND it also means: “Thank You Jesus for the things coming up today that I’m NOT excited or even happy about. I know they must be good for me, and that You will help me with them even though they are not my favorite.”

That’s what it means to give thanks in EVERYTHING!

Feeling Lonely?

CherubWingsLogoTransHi! Do you ever feel a little lonely? Maybe your friends are not around or you simply feel kinda blue?

Well, here’s a thought that will make you smile! Jesus said: “I will never leave you!”

Imagine that: Jesus is with you RIGHT NOW! And so are His angels! Let’s thank Him for that together: “Jesus, thank You for being here right now! I know You love me—and I love you too! Thank You that I am never alone. Even if I feel a little lonely, I know You are always close by. I just have to remember that!”

Now! Are you feeling much better?
